Organised in Obajana, Kogi State, Nigeria in 2010, Build Up the Nation Seminar was targeted at deconstructing the old mindset inculcated in women about limiting themselves to being wives and mothers, and reconstructing the new and right mindset which encourages them to have dreams beyond being martially bound and pursue those dreams. As we all know, when you build up the woman, you build up a nation. Women are multipliers by nature. Old fact but remains ever valid.
The project brought together one hundred and twenty-three (123) female locals of the community in attendance at the small hall used to host the event. Questions were asked and concerns were raised. One of such was the concern about having big entrepreneurial dreams and chasing it without breaking their homes.
